I hope you all spent a few calm and peaceful days on christmas and new years eve. We developers too took 1-2 days off ;-).
We're still working on MindPlan R3 - not on the standalone application any more, but on the Lotus Notes R8 integration and Composite Application that is going to be presented at Lotusphere this month.
Both are using the same code base, so there are several side effects when changing something in the CA that also reflects in the standalone version. That's the reason we still did not release the final standalone one (we need to stabilize both versions at once), although beta versions are already available for some time (send us an email if you are interested). But I'm sure the result is worth the delay.
Before and after christmas we added two new sidebar components. The first one is called "Your next steps" and it offers the most useful actions and data exports for the current node selection:
That panel is really cool. It's activated by default when you install the MindPlan R3 application. You get an easy introduction on how to manage MindPlan projects.
The second new sidebar component is called "Node style" (we had one component with that name before that's now called "Style templates").
The "Node style" panel lets you change the style of the selected nodes. But in contrast to changing the styles immediately via the toolbar icons, the panel gives you a preview, how your nodes will look like. So you can apply the style changes by hitting the "apply" button or restart from the beginning.
